The Team: Rainer Regensburger - Partner, Programme Production and Sales Rainer Regensburger, born in Germany in 1946, started his professional career as producer for documentary programmes at ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) in 1969. In 1971 he joined the Department of International Relations and was appointed Director of Sales and Programme Marketing in 1977. In this capacity Regensburger headed a sales staff of more than 15 people and was responsible for international programme sales of the largest continental European tv-station. Between 1991 and 1994 he was Director of Programming and Customer Relations of the Europlus Group, a telecommunications company which designed and created direct-to-home television programme services for North and South America and the Middle East.Since then he has been partner of BITCOM International overseeing its programme production and sales activities. Jochen Wünsche - Partner, Programme Development and Consulting. Jochen Wünsche was born in Germany in 1947 and holds a doctorate in law. In 1978 he began his professional career as a lawyer at Polytel International, which was part of the TV and film division of the Polygram Group, where he rose to the position of Head of Legal and Business Affairs. Between 1982 and 1986 he was Head of Programme Marketing for Studio Hamburg Atelier GmbH. In August 1986 he joined Telepool GmbH, Munich, a subsidiary of ARD German television and SRG Swiss television, where he had responsibility for financing, co-production, acquisition and distribution of programmes. Between 1991 and 1994 he was Deputy Managing Director and Marketing Director of the Europlus Group, a telecommunications company which designed and created direct-to-home television programme services for North and South America and the Middle East. Since then he has been a partner of BITCOM International and a consultant to various television stations, pay-tv ventures, television production companies and telecommunications companies. |
